Nah, works for me as it is. If I'm changing the sides, I can clearly see the weird scene set, when the background is closer than foreground. In fact to define the sides correctly, you can make a gif with quick switching from left to the right part. You will see that the left image was "captured" as it was seeing with the left eye, and the right image was captured with the right eye. So, everything should be correct.
probably the problem is in my brain, sometimes it looks good, sometimes inverse... maybe someday you will animate like this :) http://chapter-56.blogspot.com/2013/02/lanterns.html
